Inside architecture.
Alongside those who design.
Meet the story, the ideas and the founder behind the work.
Our story
DOFE was born in October 2025, founded by Fernando Castello Branco shortly before he graduated in architecture from FAAP. It began with rendering: architectural images produced in real time, on a graphics card. Before artificial intelligence, this was the fastest-evolving technology in the visualization market, and each update changed the way of working.
The idea was simple. Rendering was expensive for four reasons: machine time, the price of equipment, lack of information and revisions. None of them had anything to do with the quality of the project. With method, technical knowledge and good machines, it was possible to deliver quality images in less time and at a more accessible price.
Soon after, AI changed the way images are produced. The market filled up with expensive courses selling generic prompts, with no updates and no care for fidelity to the project. AI image studios also appeared, which DOFE respects, but they were short-lived.
In February 2026, DOFE spent an entire month testing what AI could do with architectural images: alterations, simulations and possibilities far beyond the few functions that courses usually teach. In March, it defined what was really worth offering. In April, it started selling. It arrived after a good part of the market, but with each service studied and tested.
When it moved into AI, DOFE also changed the way it charges. In traditional rendering, each image was quoted case by case, and a good part of the revisions had nothing to do with the project: they were adjustments of exposure, light or taste, which increased the deadline and the price. With AI, the cost of producing an image came to be measured in credits. DOFE designed each service from that cost and adopted a fixed price, with no open quotes.
With that, revision changed its role. It stopped being an adjustment of taste and became a guarantee of fidelity: if the image does not come out faithful to the project, as promised, DOFE corrects it. If the client wants another effect, another atmosphere or another composition, that is a new piece of work, offered as its own service and with a defined price. This clarity set DOFE apart from those who worked by quote and has sustained the company ever since.
Every AI platform warns that its answers may contain errors. DOFE starts from the opposite principle: a service only goes on sale when it delivers the result you would expect from software built specifically for architecture. Whatever does not yet reach that level remains under study.
For that, each method is recorded. Over time, it is refined, condensed into instruction files and tested in different AI instances and platforms. This record accumulates knowledge, increases the success rate, reduces losses and makes it possible to keep up with tool updates without losing quality.
With AI, DOFE also started working digitally. Today it serves independent architects, offices and designers, many of them from other states.
Now DOFE enters a new phase, and the focus changes. The principles that sustained the images — study, recorded method, clear pricing and responsibility for errors — are now applied to the rest of the architecture office. Almost everything done on an office computer can be supported by AI, as long as there are the software, the machines, the knowledge of the tools and a command of the cost of each process. The main one is design production with AI: DOFE carries out requests that go from sketch to render and from model to detailing. Alongside it are the services aimed at the office routine: context for AI, proposals, briefings and consulting. Others will come according to demand.
Images remain at DOFE, with the same care as always, but they are now one part of the work, not its center. In everything, what remains is the eye of someone from architecture and the encouragement of a conscious use of technology.
Our purpose
To help those who work in architecture communicate their projects and organize the office with artificial intelligence, with professional direction and a conscious use of technology.
DOFE works on everything that happens off the construction site, in architecture, interiors, construction and real estate: from the image that presents the project to the proposal, the briefing and the office routine. The goal is for technology to be simple and quick to use, without requiring the client to become an AI specialist.
That is why the client pays for the result, not for a course or for the mistakes. For the services carried out by DOFE, all you need is WhatsApp.
Who we are
DOFE is a technology company for architecture, founded and run by an architect. It works for independent architects, offices and designers, and takes care of parts of the work that happen off the construction site and inside the computer: the production of design documents, the image that presents the project, the context the office AI needs, proposals, briefings and guidance on how to use the technology.
DOFE works for those who design. Design decisions remain with the architect; DOFE's role is to carry out with method what can be done with AI and return a result that is ready to use.
Service is mainly digital, from briefing to delivery. That is why DOFE serves clients from different states with the same process.
Each job goes through the reading of someone from architecture. Before any tool comes the understanding of the project and of what the client needs.
Founder
Fernando Castello Branco
Architect and founder of DOFE Soluções Arquitetônicas.
Fernando grew up in a home that strongly encouraged technology. He never knew how to draw by hand, but even before college he was already drawing houses in SketchUp.
Before architecture, he studied engineering for one year at Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. He then moved on to the course he had always wanted and graduated as an architect from FAAP in December 2025. During his degree, he interned doing renderings. In October 2025, shortly before graduating, he founded DOFE.
Since the beginning of 2026, he has been part of the first class of the postgraduate program (certificate) in Architecture Business at ESPM with Casa Vogue, focused on the management and market of the profession.
At DOFE, Fernando follows the global technology landscape and the Brazilian architecture market, understands what offices really need and turns those demands into services that work in practice.
His vision is for DOFE to leave a mark on the architecture market — more for what it changes in the way offices work than for the technology it uses.
Security
Care for the office's information and for the materials of each project.
DOFE asks only for the information needed for each service. In AI image services, for example, the work starts from screenshots and images, not from the complete project file.
When a step uses artificial intelligence, it is done in paid professional accounts, with the option to use data for training turned off. Depending on the service, the material goes through one or more tools, chosen according to what each step requires.
Files are kept only during the service, on the work computer and in DOFE's cloud storage. After delivery, they are deleted. If something needs to be resumed later, DOFE asks the client to send the material again.
Clients' files and information are not passed on to third parties.
DOFE publishes only its own work and studies. A client's project only appears on DOFE's channels when the client asks for it or authorizes it, and in that case the client is tagged.
For those who need formal confidentiality, DOFE offers a confidentiality agreement.
